We will be reading the autobiography Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah. Throughout this unit we will be comparing and contrasting various versions of the fairy tale around the world, examining what the story says about the culture in which it was told, reading Mah's autobiography, and making connections between what they are reading, their own lives, and the world around them.
